Handwritten recipe book from the collections of the Royal College of Physicians Written in English and Latin, by a scholar of some importance. Also remedies for wounds, accidents, scaldings, biting of a rabid dog, rickets, ulcers, perfumery, etc. On the vellum cover is written "Edmund Quarles, 1574" and on the first leaf "Francis Quarles" which may be in the hand of the poet.
